What to Expect During Your Session
A ThetaHealing® session does not require hands-on energy work like energy modalities such as Reiki. It is performed fully-clothed, and a session can be done in-person or over the phone. When done in person, generally the practitioner and client sit in a chair facing each other. You should NOT be driving during a Theta session... or operating any kind of machinery or electrical appliances, etc. The energy work can significantly affect your focus, so you want to be in a safe space.
A typical session includes discussion about the particular issues you want to work on, some muscle-testing throughout as the practitioner checks-in with the Creator to help get to your core beliefs and underlying vows and oaths, etc. Once the underlying belief, vow, etc., is identified, the practitioner goes into a Theta-state and asks the Creator to perform the healing (i.e., clear and replace the limiting belief) while visualizing the healing taking place. The healing itself (i.e., the belief clearing/replacement) is generally very quick - a few seconds, sometimes a little more. This cycle is repeated throughout the session as needed to resolve and clear additional limiting beliefs.
At any time during the session, you are free to share whatever you wish and ask questions. It's YOUR time.
What to Expect After Your Session
After a session, you may feel very tired or possibly highly energized. Everyone is different. Whatever you experience is right and perfect for you, but please be aware of the potential energetic response given your anticipated activities following a session (e.g., in case you need to drive, etc.). Sometimes people feel a little hazy or foggy after a session. This is temporary and is a reflection of your energy shifting to be in alignment with your new belief system. Drinking plenty of water and getting plenty of rest following a session is recommended to facilitate this energetic realignment.
