We all have dreams, some bigger than others. A dream isn’t just a nebulous hope of something that we wish we could achieve. It isn’t a selfish wish to attain a happier existence than the one we are presently living. For what could be better for the rest of the world than for you to be happy and fulfilled and therein content to be of service to others in your own unique way? A dream is a deep desire that is yearning to express itself. It is something inside of us that is trying to get out. We will never be truly happy or fulfilled until it does finally emerge into our present reality.
None of us have the same exact dream. That’s the beauty of it. We are all different. There are as many unique dreams as
there are individuals. What a dreadfully boring world this would be if we all wanted to create the same exact thing with our lives. No diversity. No uniqueness. No intrigue. So don’t ever compare yourself or your dream to anyone else. If your dream is unique, it’s because it’s supposed to be. If YOU are unique, it’s because you are supposed to be.
Many of us were born with the dream already instilled at birth. Such a dream can also be interpreted as a destiny, a dream chosen by the soul via free will prior to incarnation. As a child you may recall always imagining yourself as being someone in particular or engaging in some special type of activity. Perhaps you always imagined yourself as Superman or Wonder Woman. While these are fantasy characters, think about what they each represent and how an individual with those characteristics could benefit our world. Perhaps as a child you talked to plants and animals. We can learn a lot about our destiny from our childhood. We are born awake. We only fall asleep as we are encouraged to do so by family, society, religion, culture, and other heavily influencing factors that exist outside ourselves.
If you are feeling unsettled in your life, your dream is calling you. If you life has become dismantled, that’s your soul helping you to turn towards your dream. If you haven’t been listening to the call, the soul will often take drastic measures to get your attention. Did you just lose your job…only to finally acknowledge that you really hated it anyway? Did your relationship just end… and you find yourself finally admitting that you weren’t in love with that person anyway, and perhaps never were? What we sometimes experience as loss can really be the doorway to a new beginning. That financial, relationship, or health crisis may actually be a spiritual crisis in disguise presented to you by your own soul in a way that you could not possibly ignore.
We are in a time of dream emergence. Souls are being called to their authenticity. Discontent is becoming more prevalent. If you have a dream, embrace it. Own it. Claim it. Pursue it. Even if you can only dedicate a little time each week to your dream, do it. You don’t have to unravel or recreate your life in order to do so; just add it in somewhere. Just start moving towards it. You have a purpose, however big or small, and your soul is calling you. Your soul is calling you because your gift is needed. Your gift is unique. It is special. And it needs to be expressed for the betterment of humanity and our world. Whatever it is, however big or small, it is important. Hear the call. Listen. And then ACT in the direction of your dream. Don’t let naysayers sway you. They don’t have your dream, because THEY ARE NOT YOU!!! You don’t need them to understand. And as much as the support of those around you would be nice, ultimately you don’t need that either. You are a strong and powerful being. You have all that you need already inside you. You need only to allow it to emerge. The world needs you to be you, and the only person who can be you… is you. It’s time.
Much love and blessings,
